The U.S. Embassy in Cairo announces American a cappella group The Beatbox House’s 2024 Egypt tour. This is their only Middle Eastern stop, featuring special guest performances in Luxor, Cairo, and Alexandria.

The Beatbox House brings its high-energy style to collaborate with Egyptian music groups Wust El-Balad in Cairo and Sharmoofers in Alexandria. Free public concerts are planned, with the Cairo show offering prizes for the first 1,000 registrants.

The Beatbox House goes beyond concerts, offering a performance for the visually-impaired at the Bibliotheca Alexandria, a children’s musical workshop, and a masterclass for Egyptian artists. The tour begins on April 30th with a concert at the Misr Public Library. The group performs with Wust El-Balad for a free public concert at the American University of Cairo on May 1st. The first 1,000 attendees receive free prizes!

The Beatbox House offers a special performance at the Bibliotheca Alexandria designed for an inclusive auditory experience on May 2nd. Then, the Beatbox House joins Sharmoofers for a closing act at the Arab Academy on May 3rd.
