Germien Amer Signs Her Eighth Book, “Makers of Media Influence on the Influencers’ Planet”

Cairo – October 6, 2026

Egyptian writer and media professional Germien Amer has signed a publishing contract for her eighth book, titled “Makers of Media Influence on the Influencers’ Planet,” with The Writer Operation, marking a new step in her ongoing intellectual, research, and professional project exploring the rapid transformations taking place in digital media, content creation, and influence, as well as anticipating the future of the industry.

The new book sheds light on the professionals working behind the creation of digital influence. It expands the scope of Amer’s “Influencers’ Planet” project, moving beyond the study of the influencer phenomenon to examine the broader system that creates and manages influence and reshapes the future of mass communication.

The book seeks to better understand the new forces driving the digital landscape and identify the professional roles involved in building influence.

The first focus of “Makers of Media Influence on the Influencers’ Planet” is public relations and mass communication, which are among the key professions associated with building image, reputation, trust, and influence.

The book examines the major transformation the profession has undergone, from managing messages and securing media coverage to building narratives, managing reputation, developing digital communities, analyzing data, using artificial intelligence, and measuring impact.

Amer explained that choosing public relations and mass communication as the book’s starting point reflects the significant development the profession has experienced in recent years following the technological revolution and growing demand for artificial intelligence tools.

The profession has evolved from its traditional role into areas including image engineering, influence building, relationship management, and trust creation. This transformation, she noted, makes it a clear model for understanding how influence and impact are shaped in the digital age.

Amer also emphasized that “Influencers’ Planet” is no longer simply a virtual world, but has developed into an integrated system with economic, social, ethical, and media dimensions that strategically intersect with legislation, professional practices, and technology.

The creation of influence is no longer the responsibility of the influencer or brand alone. Instead, it is supported by an integrated ecosystem of professions, expertise, and tools that contribute to building images, managing reputations, creating trust, and transforming influence into economic and communication value.

Amer said the new book represents a strategic development of her “Influencers’ Planet” project, which has so far expanded to include seven books, more than 100 articles, four specialized research papers published in international scientific publications, more than 120 awareness-focused posts across social media platforms, and five initiatives covering purposeful content as well as a professional, ethical, and social code of conduct for influencers.
