Al Ahly Women’s Volleyball Team Wins the Egyptian Cup for the 36th Time

On 13 April, Al Ahly women’s volleyball team won the Egyptian Cup for the 36th time, beating El Shams 3-0 and maintaining their record for the most Women’s Volleyball Egyptian Cup titles.

The Al Ahly women’s volleyball team, led by their coach Ibrahim Fakhr Eldin, won the Egyptian Cup title with a score of 25-10 in the third set and ultimately the match.

The Al Ahly women’s volleyball team won the Egyptian Cup title, with a score of 25-10 in the third set and the match, under the guidance of their head coach, Ibrahim Fakhr Eldin.

Al Ahly has made it to the cup final by defeating Wadi Degla with a score of 3-0. Similarly, El Shams has reached the final after winning against Zamalek by a score of 3-2. Al Ahly controlled the match with powerful serves and excellent player coordination. They won the first set 25-20 and the second set 25-13 with ease.

In a statement, Fakhr Eldin expressed his gratitude towards the players for their contributions throughout the season and highlighted that the team performed exceptionally well against El Shams, a formidable opponent.

The Al Ahly women’s volleyball team holds an impressive record of wins. As of April 2022, the team had won 103 consecutive games. They have won the Egyptian League 38 times, the Women’s African Volleyball Championship 10 times, and the Women’s Arab Volleyball Championship 8 times. With a total of 91 local and regional titles, the team has earned the title of “Golden Girls”.
