The countdown is on for the Qatar Squash Open Champion, and Egypt’s Women squash squad is raring to go. The prestigious tournament, set to take place from September 30 to October 5 in Doha. Egypt’s women’s squash squad is well-prepared to make a strong statement and solidify the country’s position as a global powerhouse in the sport, headlined by World No. 1 Nour El Sherbiny.
A contingent of 16 talented players will represent the country in Qatar’s world- class tournament. The stellar players include Sana Ibrahim, Hana Ramadan, Mariam Metwali, Salam El Tayeb, Hania El Hammamy, Malak Khafagy, Menna Hamed, Fayrouz Abu El Khier, Zina Mikiwi, Rawan El Arabi, Farida Mohamed, Salama Hany, Amina Orfi, Nada Abbas, and Nouran Gohar. Egypt’s professional training facilities and coaching programs have produced a steady stream of exceptional players.
