A spokesman for the Foreign Ministry, Ahmed Abu Zeid, stated that the ministry’s consular sector is maintaining contacts around the clock with Egypt’s embassies in Ankara and Damascus to check on the condition of Egyptians in both countries after the massive earthquake that hit parts of Turkey and Syria on Monday, February 6.
He further confirmed that phone numbers were designated in both embassies for Egyptian citizens wishing to report any injuries or ask for help.
