Egyptian squash player Nouran Gohar has reclaimed her World No.2 ranking after winning the Black Ball Squash Open in Cairo last week.

Gohar won her 24th PSA (Professional Squash Association) title by defeating Olivia Weaver from the USA in straight games.

This victory tied her with Raneem El Welily for the second most successful Egyptian woman in the sport.

Gohar’s Fellow Egyptian player, Nour El Sherbini, is currently the only woman ranked higher than her in the PSA Women’s World Rankings and the only female player to have won more titles than Gohar.
