Rolls-Royce, a renowned luxury car manufacturer from the United Kingdom, has recently launched its latest masterpiece – the La Rose Noire Droptail. This highly exclusive vehicle is the first of four upcoming Droptails, and it comes with a staggering price tag exceeding $30 million, which roughly converts to Rs 211 crore.
As such, it has now become the world’s most expensive car, and its debut was held at an exclusive event near Pebble Beach, California.
According to reports from Bloomberg, the previous “coach-built” vehicles that were used for bespoke bodywork designs cost over $28 million, despite being less complex. However, Rolls-Royce has confirmed that each of the four Droptails will be personalized to the buyer’s preference, which makes this vehicle an even more unique and exclusive masterpiece.
The La Rose Noire, the first model of the four, takes inspiration from the rare black baccara rose. The vehicle’s color changes depending on the angle from which it is viewed, and it boasts a sleek exterior made from a combination of steel, aluminum, and carbon fiber. Additionally, it features a 6.7-liter V12 engine with 593 horsepower, and the grille’s upright elements are angled for the first time. The bodywork has a bespoke finish in a blend of red and black colors with dark red accents, which perfectly complements the unique exterior of the car.
Inside the La Rose Noire, the cabin is adorned with 1,603 pieces of black sycamore wood trim veneer, arranged to resemble the scattered petals of a rose. The dashboard features a custom-designed Audemars Piguet watch that can also be worn out, and there is a champagne and cooler storage compartment in the car. These luxurious amenities are just a few of the many features that make the La Rose Noire an exclusive masterpiece.
