DOHA, August 31 (QNA) — The 15th edition of the Arab Women’s Exhibition opened today at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Center, under the patronage of the Qatari Businesswomen Forum at Qatar Chamber, featuring 200 local and international booths.
The exhibition was inaugurated by Al Anoud Zayed Al Mohannadi, Director of the Membership Affairs Department at Qatar Chamber.
Running until Saturday, September 5, 2026, the exhibition brings together around 140 Qatari women entrepreneurs, alongside participants from several Gulf Arab countries, Morocco, Jordan, Türkiye, Lebanon, Egypt, Pakistan, India and France. The event provides an important platform for showcasing the latest Fall/Winter 2026 fashion trends.
Ibtihaj Al Ahmadani, Chairwoman of the Qatari Businesswomen Forum and a Qatar Chamber Board Member, said the exhibition has become a prominent platform for highlighting the creativity and projects of Qatari and Arab women entrepreneurs.
She noted that the exhibition has witnessed significant development across previous editions in terms of organization, products on display and participating exhibitors, underscoring the increasingly important role women play in supporting economic development and fostering innovation.
Al Ahmadani also highlighted the current edition’s collaboration with M7, saying the partnership presents a curated selection of exceptional regional talents. The participating designers showcase diverse creations that combine contemporary design, traditional craftsmanship and modern creative perspectives, celebrating talent and innovation from Qatar, the Gulf Cooperation Council countries and the wider region.
She invited visitors and those interested in the design sector to explore the selected participants and their distinctive regional designs and creative works, offering an experience that brings together fashion, design and craftsmanship under one roof.
Al Ahmadani reaffirmed Qatar Chamber’s commitment to supporting women’s participation across economic and commercial activities and providing opportunities for women to contribute actively to economic and social development.
She said the exhibition reflects the Chamber’s commitment to strengthening the role of Qatari and Arab women in entrepreneurship and expanding their regional and international networks.
The exhibition also represents an important opportunity for businesswomen to connect, explore new areas of cooperation and establish commercial partnerships, contributing to greater participation by women in the private sector and supporting economic diversification, she added.
For her part, Tamader Al Marri, Director of Foj Events, the company organizing the exhibition, said she was pleased to host the 15th edition of the Arab Women’s Exhibition, held this year under the theme “Athar”, which reflects the impact women create through their creativity, work and presence.
She described the exhibition as a leading platform bringing together prominent Qatari and Arab women entrepreneurs and creatives under one roof, with the aim of highlighting their achievements and strengthening their contributions to economic and social development.
Al Marri added that the exhibition features the latest designs in fashion and women’s accessories, particularly for the Fall/Winter 2026 seasons.
She expressed her appreciation to the Qatari Businesswomen Forum at Qatar Chamber for its continued support of the exhibition, saying this reflects their belief in the pivotal role women play in leading successful businesses and contributing to economic diversification.
