Geopolitical disruptions have a major impact on Egyptian women, especially in light of the ongoing Gaza issue, said Maya Morsy, President of Egypt’s National Council for Women (NCW), on Sunday during a panel discussion at the third edition of the Egyptian Women’s summit.

Speaking at the Egyptian Women’s Summit, Morsy highlighted the crucial role that women in decision-making positions have in navigating these turbulent times.

Morsy underlined that women have the capacity and aptitude to gain the trust and support of both the administration and the presidency. Women’s opinions and ideas are vital as the globe faces difficult issues. She explained that the NCW wants to enable women to shape policies and initiatives actively.

Morsy believes that the most pressing difficulty is entering the employment market and effectively connecting with the private sector. She emphasized the need for qualifying women in all disciplines.

“By equipping women with the necessary skills and opportunities, Egypt can harness their potential for economic growth and development,” she said.

Drawing attention to gender dynamics, the NCW president stated that women constantly display attributes required for effective leadership. She emphasized their correctness, honesty, and dedication to their jobs. In contrast to previous norms, bank failures have been comparatively infrequent under female administration.
