Housing & Development Bank Celebrates Female Employees on Occasion of International Women’s Day

In a festive atmosphere dominated by the spirit of friendliness, joy, and positive energy, the Housing and Development Bank organized a special entertainment day for its female employees on the occasion of International Women’s Day in Ahimsa Gardens in Cairo, in appreciation of their efforts, continuous giving and various roles in life.

The ceremony included a range of discussions that interest women regarding their physical and mental health, in addition to providing professional consultancy and constructive advice to support their careers by specialists in these fields.

For his part, Mr. Hassan Ghanem, CEO and Managing Director of the Housing and Development Bank was keen to deliver his speech on this day to emphasize the bank’s belief in the importance of supporting and empowering women. He pointed out that the percentage of female employees working in the bank has reached nearly 30%, an increase of 38% during the last five years.

Ghanem further expressed his sincere thanks and appreciation to the employees of the Housing and Development Bank for their great efforts, ability to achieve excellence, and effective and essential contribution to the success of the bank and for achieving its goals and strategy to become a comprehensive, leading, and competitive commercial bank in the first rows.

This event emphasizes that the Housing and Development Bank will continue to implement its strategy, which aims to support and empower women internally and externally, in line with the strategy of the State and the Central Bank. The bank has been keen to participate permanently in social responsibility initiatives and programs that provide them with training, education, and job opportunities.

Moreover, the bank promised to launch accounts and banking services specifically designated for women due to their vital role in driving economic growth and promoting a culture of financial inclusion.

The bank did not lose sight of the effective role of its employees in implementing the internal development plan and its keenness to provide all means of support and development to achieve their goals and success.

It is worth noting that the Housing and Development Bank is always keen to create a positive work environment that increases employees’ loyalty and confidence in the institution. In addition, the bank provides support and appreciation to all employees.
