“Sustainable Development and Green Projects ” is one of the organized workshops, and it falls on March 6-7 at the library’s headquarters.
This workshop aims to train female students and recent graduates from different governorates of Egypt on how to conduct a feasibility study for environmentally friendly and sustainable projects and to market them.
Moreover, a conference on “Women and the Sustainable Environment ” will take place from 8-9 March.
This conference will discuss the importance of the transformative role women play in advancing the economy and achieving a sustainable environment for a green future, and the impact of this role on the mechanisms of sustainable development, without neglecting the importance of the role of women with special needs in this regard as an integral part of society.
These events come as part of Bibliotheca Alexandrina’s enlightening and cultural role and as a complement to the societal and political efforts adopted by Egypt in women’s empowerment, preserving the environment, and achieving sustainable development.
