The presenter of the “Egypt Can” program, broadcast on the DMC screen, Journalist Ahmed Fayek, presented last Friday a report on the grandmother, Amal Ismail, who earned a master’s degree at the age of 80.

The journalist remarked that age is just a number in the life of grandmother Amal, adding that she obtained a preparatory certificate at 40 years old, a high school certificate at 60, and a master’s degree at 80.

Fayek continued, saying that Amal is a mother of doctors and teachers. He went on to praise her inspiring journey in education, indicating that she should be taken as a role model. He further pointed out that the Mansoura-born idol began her education process at 38 years of age and isn’t planning on stopping any time soon.

For her part, Amal Ismail explained that she loved education very much, but her concern for her children and responsibility as a mom paused her education completion process.

Her children were her main focus until they obtained the highest degrees, and only then did she decide to shift her focus on herself and began her journey to complete her education.
