The Egyptian National Council for Women (NCW) has congratulated Ambassador Nada Daraz on her re-election to the United Nations Committee on the Elimination of Discrimination against Women (CEDAW), recognizing her continued contributions to advancing women’s rights on the international stage.
Ambassador Daraz secured 141 votes during the election, placing second among 21 candidates from countries around the world. Her re-election reflects international confidence in her expertise and longstanding commitment to promoting gender equality and protecting women’s rights.
