Egypt’s PM Witnesses Signing of Protocol to Enhance Early Childhood Development Center

Egypt’s Prime Minister, Dr. Mostafa Madbouly,  witnessed the signing of a cooperation protocol between the  cabinet’s Education Development Fund  and the Arab Council for Childhood and Development. The agreement aims to strengthen the institutional capacity of the Early Childhood Development Center in the Educational City in Sixth of October, transforming it into a primary hub for supporting local kindergartens.

The ceremony brought together  Dr. Mohamed Abdel-Latif, Minister of Education and Technical Education, Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal Al Saud, President of the Arab Gulf Programme for Development (AGFUND), and Dr. Nasser Al-Qahtani, Executive Director of AGFUND.

Dr. Madbouly emphasized the government’s commitment to providing high-quality education starting from early childhood, a crucial stage for developing children’s awareness and personality. He also highlighted the “Generation Alpha Kindergarten” project, which aims to build and develop the capacities of young children, preparing them for primary education in alignment with Egypt’s vision for progress.

Dr. Rasha Sharaf, Secretary-General of the Education Development Fund, emphasized that the protocol represents a significant Egyptian-Arab collaboration. It focuses on improving early childhood systems, aiming to provide continuous professional development services to local kindergartens and preparing children with essential life skills, critical thinking, and creativity.

Prince Abdulaziz bin Talal praised the collaboration as a vital investment in the future, ensuring that future generations grow up in a supportive, healthy, and educational environment that will equip them to face global challenges. He also expressed appreciation for Egypt’s commitment to working with developmental institutions to advance human and social development in the Arab world.
