The UAE Minister of Culture and Youth, H.E. Salem bin Khalid Al Qasemy, and the Egyptian Minister of Culture, Dr. Nevine Al Kilany, were welcomed at the beginning of Dr. Kilani’s visit to the UAE.
She is attending the opening of the 33rd session of the Abu Dhabi International Book Fair, where Egypt is the guest of honor for the current session.
During their meeting, the two parties discussed cooperation frameworks, important future events, and efforts to strengthen cultural relations between Egypt and the UAE.
Minister of Culture, Dr. Nevine Al Kilany, praised the collaboration between the two countries in various fields of literature and arts.
She highlighted Egypt’s selection as the “Guest of Honour” at the 33rd Abu Dhabi International Book Fair and the exhibition of Nobel laureate Naguib Mahfouz’s character. She wished the exhibition a memorable conclusion that befits the name of the two sister states.
The UAE Minister of Culture warmly welcomed his Egyptian counterpart to Abu Dhabi and expressed his appreciation for her participation in the opening events of the 33rd Abu Dhabi Exhibition.
He praised Egypt’s rich cultural heritage and emphasized that selecting Egypt as the “guest of honor” for the current session adds a unique and special character to the exhibition.
