Kygo and Tiësto, two renowned DJs, are set to headline the upcoming Palm Tree Music Festival at the Great Pyramids of Giza in Egypt from 26 to 29 October. As anticipation builds, Kygo has expressed excitement at the prospect of performing at the iconic pyramids with some special guests. Other DJs, including Kung and Frank Walker, will also perform at the festival.

The festival promises to be an unforgettable experience, with a range of events planned. These include a group dinner for VIPs featuring a piano performance by Kygo, an exploration of Fayoum culminating in a DJ set, a desert Q&A with Myles Shear (co-founder of PTMF), and an after-party with Walker at the Ritz-Carlton Rooftop on 27 October. The main event, held at the Pyramids, will take place the following day.

Four ticket packages are available, each offering access to the event, activities, and meal plans during the four-day stay in Egypt. These include the Early Egyptian Package, VIP Silver Package, VVIP Gold Package, and Pharaoh’s Platinum Package. While prices have not yet been released, pre-sales are available on the official PTMF website.

Kygo and Shear founded the festival in 2016, and it has since been held in various locations across the globe. However, the announcement of the PTMF comes amid controversy surrounding Travis Scott’s ‘Utopia’ Pyramids concert. The event has been threatened with cancellation after the Musician’s Syndicate revoked the organizer’s license to perform, citing practices that conflict with the cultural identity of the Egyptian people.
