IOM Egypt’s Chief of Mission, Mr. Laurent De Boeck, honoured a number of successful women in Egypt and the Arab World for their leading role in CSR at cultural, social, and economic sectors.

The list of nominees are selected according to a poll based on the international criteria for professional Excellency and CSR activities related to UN sustainable development objectives, especially UN programs for the empowerment of  working and vulnerable women as well as the revival of cultural heritage. Among the top nominees were:

Hala Sakr, Managing Director of Attijariwafa Bank Egypt

Rawya Mansour, Chairperson of the interior design company RAMSCO

Coreen Malak Shenouda: President of the Women and Youth committee of the Egyptian Expatriates Union

Laila Al Meligy, Former Minister of Finance’s legislation consultant

Rashed Matar, cultural counsellor, Kingdom of Bahrain

Soheir Abdel Kader, President of Awladna for the Arts of Children with Special Needs and Awladna International Forum and Director of the Cairo International Film Festival for Children
