In honor of the Egyptian Red Crescent volunteers who demonstrated extraordinary bravery during the crises in Gaza, Libya, and Sudan, Minister of Social Solidarity Nevine Al-Kabbaj honored them on Sunday, December 24, on the International Volunteer Day for Economic and Social Development.

The supplies, which come from other Egyptian charities alongside the Egyptian Red Crescent (ERC), are transported to Gaza from Arish City via the Rafah border crossing.

Since the beginning of the Israeli war on the strip, 331 planes carrying thousands of tons of relief aid, ambulances, field hospitals, and necessary equipment bound for Gaza have landed at El-Arish International Airport in North Sinai.
