MotherBeing Clinic in Egypt Supports Women in Gaza by Donating Menstrual Products, Free Medical Services

Multiple campaigners, nonprofits, and NGOs are joining forces to spread the word about the reoccurring ethnic cleansing currently taking place in Occupied Palestine. Within these efforts, the Egyptian reproductive and women’s health clinic “MotherBeing” is appealing for volunteers to collect menstrual products for women in Gaza who have no access to such commodities in the meantime.

Women in Gaza are apparently resorting to artificially postponing their menstrual periods in attempts to avoid toxic shock syndrome, a potentially fatal illness, due to the lack of access to clean water and medical care. Besides gathering menstruation items, the clinic currently offers Palestinian women complementary medical services.

MotherBeing confirmed in a statement that it is providing free online consultations to all Palestinian women in need of medical guidance on their reproductive health due to the increasing demand on the Palestinian healthcare system arising from the ongoing bombardment on Gaza.

Right now, In Gaza, there are about 32,000 expecting mothers. It is important to stress that reproductive health continues, even during conflict and natural disasters.

The clinic located in Maadi, on Street 252, Floor 3, Apartment 7, Degla, is currently accepting donations.
