Most Casualties in Gaza Are Women and Children, UNRWA Reports

Since October 7, there have been about 13,000 deaths in the Gaza Strip; roughly 75% of these deaths have been women, children, and the elderly, according to the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA).

In the meantime, OCHA reported that since October 7th, 200 Palestinians in the West Bank had died, 52 of them were children, at the hands of at the hands of Israeli settlers.

“Houses have been hit all across the Gaza Strip,” stated White, adding that the primary worry of the populace was “Are they safe if they’re in the north or the south?”

According to health authorities, at least 11,000 people have died in Gaza to date, including 104 UNRWA employees, stated Thomas White, the organization’s director.
