Dua Lipa recently stated in an interview that she maintains her stance on describing the situation in Gaza as an “Israeli genocide”; the singer keeps standing up for Palestinians and calling for an immediate and permanent Humanitarian ceasefire.
The pop star emphasized that she would speak out for what she believed was right, regardless of any criticism. It’s important to note that Dua Lipa has been actively advocating for a permanent ceasefire in Gaza.
According to the Palestinian Ministry of Health, the health system in the Gaza Strip has lost over 70% of its clinical capacity and is struggling to support the remaining hospitals.
The ministry stated that efforts are underway to establish field hospitals despite the challenges in providing basic services.
Since October 7th, the health system in Gaza has been facing severe difficulties, including a nearly collapsed ambulance system due to the bombing of approximately 108 ambulances by the Israeli occupation, and most hospitals are no longer operational.
Moreover, the Israeli offensive in the Gaza Strip has resulted in a significant number of casualties, injuries, and extensive destruction of infrastructure.
