Sahar Talaat Mostafa Elected Chair of Parliament’s Tourism and Civil Aviation Committee
MP Sahar Talaat Mostafa Ibrahim has been elected Chair of the Tourism and Civil Aviation Committee at the Egyptian House of Representatives following the committee’s internal elections.
The elections also resulted in MP Hisham Hussein Mohamed Hassan being selected as First Deputy Chair, MP Amr Ahmed Ibrahim El-Sayed Darwish as Second Deputy Chair, and MP Ahmed El-Sayed Ahmed El-Ashmouny as Committee Secretary.
The committee is responsible for examining matters related to tourism, civil aviation, and air transport, as well as legislation governing these sectors.
It is also tasked with reviewing other matters that fall within the responsibilities of ministries and government bodies overseeing tourism, civil aviation, and air transport.
With tourism and air transport among its key areas of responsibility, the committee will address legislation and issues related to these sectors as part of its parliamentary mandate.
