Acknowledging the important contribution of women in the development of the petroleum industry, Minister of Petroleum and Mineral Resources Karim Badawi has designated Reham Mohamed Sayed as the Chairman of Alexandria Petroleum Company, effective from November 21, 2024.
Reham earned a chemical engineering degree from Alexandria University and served as a teaching assistant there for two years. She then joined Amreya Petroleum Refining Company and was involved in the Alkyl Gasoline Complex.
In 2019, she was promoted to General Manager of Production and was appointed as a member of the board of directors. Reham also held the position of Assistant for Production at the Egyptian Linear Alkyl Benzene Company (ELAB).
Throughout her career, Reham has overseen various projects and initiatives, such as the implementation of ERP systems for production, the linear programming system, a digital measuring system for warehouses, and the integration of the SCADA system. Additionally, she was responsible for the renewal and replacement of pipelines and warehouses.
