Egypt’s Farida Khalil Secures Gold in Women’s World Modern Pentathlon Championship

Farida Khalil won the gold medal in the women’s singles competition, and the national team won the gold medal in the team competition at the World Youth Under-17 Modern Pentathlon Championship held in Portugal from September 10 to 16.

Farida Khalil secured the women’s singles gold medal with 1391 points, while Egypt’s Lily Farag finished in fourth place with 1364 points, Alia Enayat in sixth place with 1349 points, and Retaj Ramadan in 36th place with 1095 points.

Furthermore, Hungary clinched the silver medal with 4042 points, and Poland secured the bronze medal with 3924 points.

Egypt participated in the tournament with eight male and female players, including Ahmed Osama Abdel Hamid, Omar Hossam, Ali Ihab, Sani Radwan, Farida Abu Hashem, Retaj Alaa, Alia Mahmoud, and Lily Farag.
