Dr. Nevien Elwahsh was just selected among the top 10 working women in the health sector for the year 2023 by the international magazine “Healthcare Everything” to honor her role in organizing medical convoys and free clinics in all governorates and villages of Egypt and educating women in villages, besides her part in raising health awareness and empowering women through paying attention to the medical aspect of her health.
Elwahsh is a dedicated dentist and healthcare professional who strives to provide accessible and affordable medical services to poor communities, as she offers a range of medical services to her private patients. However, her desire to do more for the benefit of the public healthcare sector has always driven her, especially for those who cannot afford private medical care.
She believes that patient care is always a top priority to leaders, which is why the healthcare industry exists, and that a leader’s care of patients not only ensures better treatment but also leads to better patient outcomes and satisfaction.
During the year 2023, Dr. Nevien aims to increase services and operations by increasing the technical equipment in private clinics and expanding the medical team to allow the provision of a wide range of medical treatments to patients and volunteer work.
It is worth noting that the acclaimed dentist currently works at Hayat Medical Center as an oral and dental surgeon. She obtained a bachelor’s degree from Ain Shams University in Egypt, a master’s degree in dental implantology from New York University, a diploma in women’s health and international human rights from Stanford University in California, and a master’s degree in nutrition from the European Nile University. In addition, she attended a fellowship at the Royal College of Surgeons in Edinburgh, London, United Kingdom.
Her compassion and true dedication have given her recognition in the healthcare community in Egypt, and her efforts to improve healthcare access in poorly served areas have not gone unnoticed; she has become a role model for aspiring health professionals.
