Minister of State for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates’ Affairs Soha Gendi has met with UAE’s Minister of Human Resources and Emiratisation Abdul Rahman bin Abdul Mannan al Awar.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed prospects of cooperation between the two countries with the view to serving the Egyptian workers in the UAE labour market.
The minister further stressed the depth of ties between Egypt and the UAE at all levels.
The minister, meanwhile, suggested organizing workshops to spread awareness about employees’ rights in coordination with the Egyptian Embassy in Abu Dhabi and the General Consulate in Dubai.
At the end of the meeting, which tackled a host of issues, Gendi presented the ministry’s shield to the UAE minister in appreciation to the level of cooperation between the two countries.
