UMS Sends Six Humanitarian Aid Trucks to Besieged Gaza

News Agencies

Egypt’s largest media company in the MENA region, United Media Services (UMS), has just dispatched 6 trucks of aid to the Egyptian Rafah border crossing to be sent to the besieged Palestinian Gaza Strip.

The six trucks, sent by UMS, delivered nearly 150 tons of food and water to the Palestinians in Gaza. The UMS convoy is part of a massive assistance convoy dispatched in cooperation with Haya Karima, an Egyptian national social movement, and consists of 12 vehicles.

Moreover, UMS launched a blood donation campaign in support of the Palestinian victims who have been under Israeli shelling since October 7 which resulted in the death of over 11,000 civilians, including more than 4,500 children, and injuring more than 26,000.

The Company had previously denounced the Israeli bombing of a Palestinian hospital in Gaza that resulted in the deaths of hundreds of innocent people, calling it an unforgivable “crime” carried out by the Israeli government.

According to is statement, the Palestinian people’s situation is entirely the fault of the Israeli government and the nations that back its atrocities.

On November 8, the Palestine Red Crescent Society (PRCS) declared in a statement that the Egyptian Red Crescent had sent 81 vehicles filled with humanitarian supplies bringing the total number of trucks that have entered the strip since October 21 to 650, or about 36 trucks every day on average.

According to the PRCS’s statement, food, water, medical supplies, and prescription drugs were among the relief supplied, but unfortunately, Israel has not yet permitted gasoline to enter the Gaza Strip.
