USA’s well-known Vanity Fair Magazine has just listed Egyptian actress Tara Emad as one of the six most influential women in the Middle East.

The actress attended the Cannes Festival last year in its 75th session and is participating in this year’s edition as well. She turned heads with her elegant white crochet gown and sparkling Cartier jewelry.

Vanity Fair announced her listing during the ceremony, organized by the Red Sea International Film Festival, on the sidelines of the 76th session of the Cannes Film Festival, currently held from May 16-27.

Moreover, the famed actress was featured on a massive billboard at Cannes among other Egyptian and Arab stars and big names, including Huda El Mufti, Mayan El Sayed, and Raya Abirached.

Emad also participated in a panel discussion as part of the activities of the annual celebration of International Women’s Day and Egyptian Women’s Day, hosted by the Australian Embassy in Cairo in March 2022.

The renowned actress is known for her keenness to express women’s issues in her artwork, besides her interest in community activities supporting women.
