Saudi Arabia will make its inaugural appearance in the Miss Universe 2024 pageant, a historic announcement revealed by Saudi beauty queen Rumy Alqahtani last Monday.
Alqahtani, a prominent content creator and model, has expressed her preparedness to serve as a representative for her country in one of the most esteemed beauty pageants globally.
In a recent Instagram post, 27-year-old Alqahtani conveyed her gratitude for being chosen to participate in the Miss Universe 2024 pageant.
“It is with great honor that I express my enthusiasm for taking part in the Miss Universe 2024 pageant. This marks Saudi Arabia’s inaugural participation in the esteemed Miss Universe pageant.”
In a previous Instagram post from February 2023, it was mentioned that Qahtani took part in the Miss Europe competition held in Italy the previous year.
The Kingdom’s Instagram account stated that Qahtani represented Miss Arab Peace, Miss Planet SA, and Miss Asia SA, and participated in other competitions.
