President El-Sisi Inaugurates Al-Tameer Axis in Alexandria

President Abdel Fattah El-Sisi inaugurated Al-Tameer axis in Alexandria which extends for 35 km, with 9 traffic lanes in each direction.

According to the Egyptian Presidency’s Spokesman, this new axis represents a significant paradigm shift that will open up new development opportunities for west Alexandria. It would also link the Port of El-Dekheila to the Desert Road, the International Coastal Road, and the city of Borg El-Arab. The axis, a vital pillar of development, connects Alexandria with New Alamein City via the coastal road.

It was also mentioned that Al-Tameer axis is part of the network of roads and axes the State is constructing nationwide. These axes are no longer limited to easing traffic congestion; they now pave the way for planned urbanization. They also would support efforts to promote economic and trade revenues, provide job opportunities, and link national projects to each other, thus reflecting a comprehensive vision toward building, reconstruction and development.
