Nigeria’s Eniola Mariam Makes History, Wins Three Gold Medals

Eniola Mariam, Nigeria’s sensational para-badminton player, has made history by winning three gold medals at the just concluded first Egypt TV Para-Badminton International tournament in Cairo.

DAILY POST reports that over twenty-eight countries participated in the championship.

Six Nigerian athletes, three males and three females, led by the female national para-badminton assistant coach, Ngozi Duru Phillip, participated in the tournament.

However, Mariam won gold medals in the singles, doubles, and mixed doubles.
