Health and Population Minister Khaled Abdel Ghaffar asserted on Friday, Jan. 27, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi’s interest in mental health file.
He announced that a complex for mental health is launching soon outside Cairo to treat financially capable and incapable citizens.
The minister pointed out that the ministry is giving great attention to the presidency initiative to support mental health, noting that the Ministry had established several mental health clinics in villages and governorates nationwide.
This came during the inauguration of the “Fahim Foundation for Mental Health Support”, in which Social Solidarity Minister Nivine Kabbag, Youth and Sports Minister Ashraf Sobhi, and a number of ambassadors, members of parliament, and public figures also attended the ceremony.
