“Nevine Osman” Secretary General of the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood

Dr. Mostafa Madbouly, Prime Minister, issued a decree appointing Eng. Nevine Osman, Secretary-General of the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood, in light of what was presented by Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population.

It is worth mentioning that Nevine Osman is a graduate of the Faculty of Engineering, Cairo University, and held several positions, including a planning engineer at the National Authority for Tunnels, joining the International Labor Organization of the United Nations. After that she became a Senior Programme Officer at the World Food Programme for 20 years in the fields of child labor, women’s entrepreneurship, and cooperatives, professional training, community, and formal education, and school feeding.

Furthermore, she worked as a development expert at the National Council for Childhood and Motherhood, and an advisor to the Minister of Social Solidarity for school feeding, civil society, and early childhood development.
