NCW Spotlights Crimes of Cyber Bullying & Protecting Egyptian Women from Disadvantages of Artificial Intelligence

The National Council for Women organized training for the council’s employees and the lawyers of the Women’s Complaints Office entitled “Cybersecurity for Egyptian Women and the Family,” which lasted two days in cooperation with the Security Institute for Human Development of the Police Officers Insurance Fund.

The training shed light on the different types of electronic crimes that women may face, which include electronic blackmail, identity theft, malicious files, hacking crimes, and money crimes.

The council also provided an introduction to the latest methods used in electronic piracy against women and the danger that artificial intelligence poses to the personal lives of women and their families, in addition to offering several methods used to protect women from all these crimes.

Furthermore, the participants reviewed the different types of digital currencies, which include virtual currencies, electronic currencies, official digital currencies, and encrypted currencies; how to safely use these currencies; and the role of social engineering in cybercrimes.

The training also presented the latest methods and applications that protect the personal information of women and their families from hacking.

In addition, attendees learned through the training about the definition of artificial intelligence, machine learning, deep learning, neural networks, and the latest machines that combine the different types of intelligence in humans (robots).

They further discussed the different types of existent viruses, how to protect electronic devices from them, and how to protect children and young people from being led into some games and programs that could negatively affect them in various ways.
