National Council for Women Honored at Syndicate of Engineers’ International Women’s Day Gala

The National Council for Women (NCWC) took center stage at a vibrant celebration marking Mother’s Day and International Women’s Day, hosted by the Egyptian Engineers Syndicate. The event served as a high-profile tribute to the inspiring women shaping Egypt’s future and their pivotal role in the nation’s ongoing development.

A highlight of the gala was the special recognition of President Amal Ammar, President of the NCWC. The Syndicate honored her for her dedicated leadership and the Council’s tireless efforts in advancing women’s empowerment across the country. On her behalf, Engineer Gihan Tawfik, Head of the Central Administration for the Affairs of the Council President’s Office, accepted the commemorative shield.

The celebration featured a series of artistic performances and moving tributes to a select group of distinguished female engineers. These women were honored for their exceptional contributions to the profession and their dedication to public service. The atmosphere reflected a deep societal appreciation for the vital roles women play in every sector, from technical engineering to leadership and policymaking.
