Health Minister Witnesses Inking of Protocol on E-platform to Track Antimicrobial Resistance

On Monday, April 10th, Health and Population Minister, Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, witnessed the inking of a cooperation protocol between the Ministry of Health and Population and Accsight (Healthcare Integrated Solutions) company for launching an e-platform for tracking and monitoring antimicrobial resistance.

The spokesman for the Health Ministry, Hossam Abdel Ghaffar, issued a statement on Monday, emphasizing that the protocol comes within the framework of efforts meant to implement the national strategy to rationalize the use of antibiotics and contribute to limiting the global health threats resulting from the misuse and overuse of antibiotics as well as to achieve comprehensive pharmaceutical care to all citizens.

He added: Under the protocol, both sides cooperate in conducting studies and presenting consultations related to health economics and rationalizing the use of antibiotics.
