Health Minister Visits Baheya Foundation to Monitor Its Progress in Aiding Egyptian Women

Baheya Foundation has been honored by a visit from Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar, Minister of Health and Population, who was pleasantly received by Eng. Tamer Shawky, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of Baheya Foundation, the rest of the members of the Board of Trustees, the executive team, and heads of medical departments.

The visit began with an introductory meeting with the Foundation’s officials and a number of its employees, during which the mechanisms of work in the two branches of the Foundation in the Haram and Sheikh Zayed areas were reviewed, since the Haram branch was established in March 2015.

After that, His Excellency the Minister toured the hospital departments and got acquainted with the workshops of Baheya warriors and their handicrafts.

The minister expressed his appreciation for this charitable medical establishment, which arose from a humanitarian idea aimed at helping women and alleviating them, psychologically and financially, wishing that it becomes a symbol for humanitarian work and a model to be followed.

He also commended the volume of work in the hospital, which aims primarily to reduce the burden on Egyptian women, praising the work group in this charitable foundation, stressing the keenness of the Ministry of Health to provide all means of support to all institutions that provide service to the patient.
