Halle Bailey sports a golden bustier by Balmain and Egyptian Jewelry designer Azza Fahmy

American actress, Halle Bailey attended the “Avatar: The way of Water” premier and turned heads on the purple carpet with an Egyptian goddess-inspired outfit suited for a goddess.

She wore a flashy, asymmetrical gold bustier, styled with oversize, low-rise black pants, a gold headband, a layered gold choker, mismatched Poem earrings, and punk stud pumps, although the bustier could have very well stood on its own.

The Bustier worn by the “The Little Mermaid” star was designed by French luxury fashion house “Balmain” in Collaboration with Egyptian jewelry designer, Azza Fahmy, the first Egyptian woman to train in Egypt’s jewelry quarter “Khan El-Khalili” before founding her infamous design house “Azza Fahmy Jewelry”.

This Beautiful, intricate piece featured historic symbols inspired by the unique Egyptian mythological history. It included armor-like plates surrounding the chest, a sculptural silhouette, and braided particulars alongside the border.

The “Eye of Horus” is visibly displayed in the detailed construction of the golden piece, according to Balmain’s Instagram post “The gold-plated bustier pulls from Egyptian symbolism together with the Eye of Horus, the wings of the goddess Nekhbet, the lotus, the Shen-ring & a scarab.”

He also wrote, “Actress Halle Bailey revels in Historic Egyptian inspiration for the world premiere of Avatar 2 carrying a golden Eye of Horus bustier crafted in collaboration with Egyptian superb jeweler Azza Fahmy”.

Olivier Rousteing, the creative director of Balmain has always been fond of Egyptian mythology and has created countless designs inspired by Egypt, which can be seen on the fashion house’s Instagram page through several posts, captioned “Ode to Egypt”.

Azza Fahmy has also taken to her public Instagram account, commemorating this marvelous cooperation with the luxurious “Balmain”.
