Egypt grants a license for a green hydrogen project in Ain Sokhna

On Wednesday, December 14th, the state’s government stated that the Egyptian cabinet has granted a license for building a green ammonia project in Egypt’s Ain Sokhna industrial zone, with a capacity of one million tons produced every year.

According to Reutters, the Egyptian government additionally said that Egypt’s Green Ammonia Company expects its project’s cost will reach approximately $ 5.5 Billion, which Egypt has already approved, and provide close to 10,600 jobs for the youth, during the initial construction and operation phases.
