Gendi, German Ambassador Explore Ways to Enhance Cooperation

Ambassador Soha Gendi, Egypt’s Minister for Emigration and Egyptian Expatriates Affairs met with Ambassador Frank Hartmann, the German Ambassador to Egypt, to discuss strengthening and initiating a new phase of collaboration between the two countries.

Dr. Saber Soliman, the Assistant Minister for Institutional Development; Professor Doaa Qadri, the Head of the Central Administration for the Affairs of the Minister’s Office; Professor Sarah Maamoun, the Assistant Minister for Projects and International Cooperation, and Professor Karim Hassan, the Media Advisor to the Ministry of Immigration, attended the meeting.

Ambassador Soha Gendi welcomed Ambassador Frank Hartmann and expressed her satisfaction with the existing cooperation between Egypt and Germany.

She stated that the Ministry’s Egyptian-German Centre for Immigration, Jobs, and Reintegration is a model of effective bilateral cooperation, particularly in terms of training and certifying Egyptian workers for employment in Germany.

On her part, Ambassador Frank Hartmann expressed his desire for a new phase of constructive cooperation with Egypt’s Ministry of Immigration. He also praised the work of the Centre and saw it as an example of constructive bilateral cooperation.
