El-Sisi, Hungarian PM Sign Joint Declaration on Strategic Partnership

Yesterday, President Abdel Fattah El Sisi and Hungarian Prime Minister Viktor Orbán signed a joint declaration on the strategic partnership between the two countries to upgrade the level of relations to match its current excellent level.

El Sisi and Orban witnessed the signing of several ministers and officials from both sides on a number of joint memoranda of understanding (MOUs) in various fields.

Minister of Electricity and Renewable Energy Mohamed Shaker and Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade Péter Szijjártó signed MOU regarding training and education on the peaceful uses of nuclear energy.

Also, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research Mohamed Ayman Ashour and Szijjártó signed an agreement on scholarships offered by Hungary through the Stipendium Hungaricum scholarship program.

Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and Szijjártó signed an MOU on sports and youths.

Ashour and Szijjártó signed another MOU regarding their cooperation in high education and scientific research from 2023 through 2026.
