Egypt’s national Mixed Martial Arts (MMA) team has officially departed for São Paulo, Brazil, to compete in the prestigious 2025 MMA World Championship, set to take place from June 15 to 23. The event will bring together elite fighters from across the globe in a high-stakes battle for international glory.

The delegation is led by Mahmoud Said, with Captain Ramadan Nouman serving as the national team’s head coach.

In a statement ahead of the team’s departure, Mohamed Ibrahim, President of the Egyptian Muay Thai Federation, highlighted the intense preparation program the fighters underwent in recent months.
“The athletes are in peak physical and technical condition,” Ibrahim said. “We believe this team has what it takes to reach the podium and make Egypt proud on the international scene.”
