Egyptian Designer Mohamed Nour Dedicates New Keffiyeh-Inspired Collection to Palestine

by Nada Khaled

With the debut of his new collection “Hurra”, which translates to “Free”, dropping at the beginning of 2024, Egyptian designer Mohamed Nour has certainly delivered a strong message to the world and clearly showed his support of Palestine.

Nour expressed his utter support for the people of Gaza and his condemnation of the crimes carried out by Israelis against its civilian population through his line of 42 pieces of stylish and casual dresses that combine modernism and Palestinian heritage.

The Palestinian shawl, commonly known as “keffiyeh”, a traditional emblem of Palestinian culture, heritage, and patriotism, served as the main inspiration for the collection.

The black and white patterns in “Hurra” are crafted from premium Egyptian materials like silk, satin, and cotton textiles.

Whether a hijabi or not, Arab women who would like to stay up to date with the latest international fashion trends with an oriental flair will find what they need in this amazing collection.
