On Sunday, the country’s national carrier, EgyptAir, signed a contract with Palestinian Airlines to operate special flights to Saudi Arabia to carry 2,915 Palestinian pilgrims in June and July 2023, said Yahia Zakaria, Board Chairman of EgyptAir Holding Company.
The flights will be operated on the Cairo/Jedda and Madina/Cairo routes in coordination with all bodies concerned to offer the best services to Palestinians wishing to perform Hajj this year.
Notably, since the beginning of the Umra season till the end of the holy month of Ramadan, EgyptAir has carried 8,500 Palestinian pilgrims.
