Fouad said in a statement that the UNDP is a key partner in the development journey of the environment sector in Egypt via the different tools presented to support the environmental policies.

The minister affirmed that the UNDP was a partner in several success stories that achieved a quantum leap in Egypt, including launching the idea of sustainable transport in Egypt via cooperation between the program and the Environment Ministry.

The minister asserted the importance of linking climate, biological diversity, and desertification and the role of the UNDP in developing a group of policies to face those three challenges.
