Egypt to Become the First African Country to Achieve Self-sufficiency in Plasma Production

The Ministry of Health in Egypt has recently announced that the country has attained a pioneering status, becoming the first African nation to achieve plasma self-sufficiency. This accomplishment underlines the country’s commendable progress in the field of healthcare and medical innovation.

According to a statement made by Dr. Hossam Abd al-Ghaffar, the official spokesperson for the Ministry of Health and Population, the Ministry is taking measures to enhance the proficiency of human personnel working in plasma collection centers.

This will be achieved by imparting training courses pertaining to various aspects such as laboratory operations, quality control, and technical capabilities.
