Egypt Ranked 1st Among Leading Services Exporters in Africa

A new infographic issued by the Egyptian Cabinet’s information and Decision Support Center (IDSC) stated that Egypt came in first place among Leading Services Exports and second in Linear Shipping Connectivity Index in Africa.

The north African country ranked 3rd among leading exporters in Africa. Furthermore, it ranked second in the Linear Shipping Connectivity Index of most connected economies, followed by South Africa, Ghana, and Togo.

The IDSC based their infographic on the UNCTAD’s Handbook of Statistics 2022, which latest report marked Egypt’s annual growth rate of 45.5% in that area.

The previously mentioned handbook typically shows a wide variety of statistics and indicators related to international development in the fields of economy, trade, investment, and transport.
