In a meeting last Friday, Foreign Minister Sameh Shoukry and his Mexican counterpart Marcelo Ebrard Casaubon said they are looking forward to boosting economic ties between their countries and upping the volume of investments.
The two top diplomats met earlier in the day on the sidelines of the G20 ministerial talks in the Indian capital.
Ahmed Abu Zeid, Spokesman for the Foreign Ministry, said both ministers exchanged views about regional and international issues of mutual concern.
Shoukry and Casaubon also discussed cooperation at international gatherings, especially those tackling files of terrorism, human rights, disarmament, and the environment.
