Bahraini speaker lauds relations with Egypt
Speaker of the Bahraini Council of Representatives Ahmed bin Salman Al Musallam praised strong fraternal relations between Bahrain and Egypt, mainly in the parliamentary and diplomatic fields, BNA news agency reported on Monday.
During his meeting with Egyptian Ambassador in Manama Yasser Mohammed Shaban, Musallam asserted that the Bahraini-Egyptian relations are a model to emulate thanks to the visions and directives of King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and Egyptian President Abdel Fattah El Sisi.
They discussed ways of boosting bilateral cooperation mainly in the parliamentary field.
The Egyptian ambassador congratulated the speaker on the trust bestowed on him by members of the Council of Representatives, lauding solid ties binding the two countries and peoples. He also commended development and prosperity in the kingdom in various sectors.
The ambassador conveyed the greetings of Speaker of the Egyptian House of Representatives Hanafy Gebali, stressing keenness on boosting bilateral parliamentary cooperation.
