by Salma Hassan

Deputy Dr. Amal Salama, a member of the Human Rights Committee of the House of Representatives, Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee of the Egyptian Freedom Party, and a delegation from the Foreign Relations Committee, expressed pleasure at meeting Ambassador Fauzia bint Abdullah Zeinel, Ambassador of Bahrain.

This came during the visit to the Embassy of Bahrain today, in the context of examining ways of cooperation between the Party and the Embassy.

Bahrain, as a country, invests greatly in women, for example, the Ambassador herself is an honourable example of Arab women and was the first Arab woman to preside over Bahrain’s Parliament.

The meeting also discussed several Arab issues, most notably the Palestinian issue, the events in Gaza, the stances of the two States about the criminalization of violations in Gaza, and methods of working together to provide assistance to the Gazan people.

Salama also expressed her pleasure at the warm reception and stressed the need for further cooperation between the two countries in all areas.

The Ambassador, meanwhile, conveyed her happiness at the visit and the exceptional role the distant played because of her parliamentary status.

It emphasized that the next phase would see productive collaboration between the two countries through the Embassy and the Egyptian Freedom Party, which always sought to evade the means of communication between other Arab communities.
